The Birthday Circus

So this was Irish's friends birthday party, what a blast! It was circus themed with a clown, balloon animals, face painting, cotton candy and even shave ice. But the best part was the HUGE jump house/water slide! I love the picture of Irish and Ellie eating their cotton candy! Priceless! Ellie got her face painted which suprised me because usually she wont let anything "dirty" come near her face. She got a rainbow on her cheek. Even Emma came to the party! There is a pic of Alexa and Irish in line to get their shave ice. It was just all around completely fun for these guys! And the parents too! Ellie was afraid to go down the water slide alone so I HAD to take her! ;) Those are some of the times you really love being a mom, it can be an excuse to have the kind of fun usually only kids have! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!!!

The Circus Tent Birthday Cake

Irish's best friend had a HUGE circus themed bday party and I got to do the cake! I tried to use fondant, made some from scratch and everything, but in the end I decided to decorate it with frosting. I made the flags and signs out of toothpicks, wooden skewers and the always versital construction paper! The top pic is of the birthday girl with her cake. I have to say, there are few compliments you can get on a cake that are more meaningful than a four year old walking away from the fun she is having on the huge jump house/ water slide to come ooo and ahh over the one you made her! Thanks Tay! :) So, I like this business of making cakes! Maybe it will become a hobby of mine! And who knows, maybe one day I'll master the fondant!!

Irish our Pioneer Girl

Irish got to walk in the 24th of July Celebration Parade! She was so excited! Thanks grandma Bleak for the dress, and aunt Sylvia too... do you recognise it?!?! Irish even wore her boots! Ooo, and thanks aunt Robin for organizing the whole parade, it was so fun!! What a way to honor our Pioneer ancestory.

Ellie Blue Eyes

You know how you get in one of those moods to just randomly start snapping pics of your adorable kids? While, of course, all of the pictures are precious, sometimes we get lucky and end up with a picture like this one of my Ellie.

Sisters

Here are just some cute pics of our girls being silly together!

Hiking at Brianhead

This was a really nice hike! Plus a lot of great photo ops! Enjoy!

Parachute fun on Cedar Mountain

We had a super fun Bleak family reunion up on Cedar Mountain. On this particular day we decided it would be cool to get the parachute out in the crazy wind, and we were right! It was a blast! Dads moms and kids alike, we all played like we were 10 years old again (accept for the kids that aren't 10 yet, they played like the age they are! ;))

Emma's blessing day

Collin blessed our little Emma Terry Bleak on June 7. My dad and some of Collins brothers and his sister Robin were all there with their families. It was a nice day! Thank you Steffanie for Emma's sweet blessing day bracelet!

Happy Birthday Irish!!

She FINALLY turned five!! I swear she's been waiting her whole life for her fifth birthday! ;) She had a great time! She just invited her closest friends and they swam in the little pool and best if all, jumped on the tramp with the sprinkler under it! WOOHOO!! She really wanted a barbie cake so I promised her I'd make one and I have to be honest that I was excited to make it and very proud of how it turned out... so I'm posting it!! It was a fun day for everyone involved... right daddy!! ;)

Thank you Nana!!

After Emma was born Collin was able to take just over 2 weeks off work and stay home with the girls and I... boy was I grateful for that! Then when he had to return to work we were blessed with a week long stay from NANA!!! Thanks mom! It was such a help to have you here and a lot of fun too! We love you!!

Welcome Miss Emma

Emma was born April 13, 2009. She is the perfect addition to our family of girls (plus dad of course)! Irish and Ellie have both loved having a baby sister in our home, at times, to Emma's frustration! They love to hold her, play pat-a-cake with her and, for some reason, to pinch her little fingers!! Collin and I have been completely enjoying having another little one. It has brought us back to the reality that can, at times, be hard to grasp, that life is wonderful. What more could we ask for than a home filled with little baby giggles (Emma), bouncing blonde curls (Ellie) and sparkling green eyes (Irish) all bundled up in one great package, the Bleak family!
